Linssen Yachts appoints new board and managing director

Linssen Yachts board

Dutch boatbuilder Linssen Yachts, which specialises in steel displacement motor yachts, has appointed a new board, with several internal changes among key leadership positions. The changes are effective as of yesterday (1 July 2025).

Yvonne Linssen, aged 45, has taken on the role of managing director at the Maasbracht-based company, which has produced luxury steel motor yachts for over 75 years. She succeeds Ed Houben, 59, who now serves as operational director.

The board has also welcomed Noël Laumen, 45, as commercial director. He is the brother-in-law of Jac Linssen, 45, and had previously served on the supervisory board. Laumen has also held the role of sales and after-sales manager since 2024. Jac Linssen continues as technical director at Linssen Yachts.

Yvonne Linssen says: “In recent years, several members of our board and management team have played a key role in the continued growth and development of our company. People with a huge track record like Ed Houben, Mariëlle Timmermans, Chris Sniekers and Miriam Joris have ensured a smooth transition from the second to the third generation of Linssen.

“Generation 2.5, as we sometimes call it, has prepared us for the future of Linssen Yachts. Now is the time for the Linssen family to take a more prominent role. And placing our focus emphatically on developing new product concepts that unmistakably carry the Linssen DNA. In order to assign roles in our tasks and responsibilities effectively, we will now be working with a four-member board.”

In addition to the board restructuring, the company has expanded its management team. On 1 July, Wendy Linssen joined the management team. She is the daughter of Peter Linssen and is responsible for marketing and Linssen Boating Holidays.
