Liverpool Marina achieves three ISO accreditations
Liverpool Marina has obtained ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001 certifications. This achievement follows an 18-month project focused on improving quality, environmental management, and occupational health and safety processes.
Liverpool Marina is a 340-berth marina in Coburg Dock, Liverpool, on England’s west coast.
At present, there are very few UK marinas with all three ISO certifications, and Liverpool Marina believes it is the first independent marina in the country to gain all three. In 2022, marina operator MDL Marinas was accredited with all three ISO standards, a standout achievement in the sector.
The three ISO certifications are internationally recognised standards that demonstrate excellence in specific operational areas. ISO 14001 certifies environmental management, ISO 9001 ensures quality management and customer satisfaction, and ISO 45001 focuses on occupational health and safety, promoting safe working conditions.
“In an industry where many marinas have achieved one or two of these accreditations, Liverpool Marina may be the first and only independent UK marina to attain all three,” says Chloe Baker, managing director at Liverpool Marina.
