Lund Boats partners with American football star

Michael Pittman Jr Michael Pittman Jr is an avid angler.

Lund Boats has partnered with Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. to collaborate on marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.

Pittman, drafted in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft from the University of Southern California (USC), is an avid angler with a strong interest in fishing and water sports.

“I’m excited to join the Lund Boats family and to represent a brand that shares my love for the water and outdoor adventure,” says Pittman Jr. “Since I was four years old, fishing has always been a passion of mine, and many of my favourite childhood memories were spent on the water fishing with my grandfather. I am thrilled to be part of a brand that builds boats designed for everyone from weekend warriors to pro tournament anglers.”

Pittman will participate in various Lund Boats marketing efforts, including social media and public events. He is also expected to share his personal experiences throughout the year aboard his Lund 2075 Impact XS.

“We are ecstatic to have Michael Pittman Jr. join the Lund team,” says Jeremie Johnston, president of Lund Boats. “His dedication to his craft, paired with his passion for the outdoors, perfectly aligns with our brand’s values. Michael is not only an incredible football player but also an inspiration to those who love the water. We are confident that his partnership with Lund will resonate with our customers and help us continue to lead the way in innovation, quality and performance.”

Minnesota-based Lund Boats is a division of Brunswick Corporation. It has been producing aluminium and fibreglass fishing, sport, hunting and utility boats since 1948.

The collaboration was introduced at the 2025 Indianapolis Boat Show earlier this month, with an appearance by Pittman. He is scheduled to appear next at the Bassmaster Expo in Fort Worth, Texas, from 3pm to 5pm on 21 March, at the Lund Booth.
