Lynn’s ship has sailed

LYNN’S SHIP HAS SAILED

Lynn Lewis passed away peacefully at home on Thursday 20 September 2018. He was 81 – not a bad innings!

Lynn will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by family, friends, colleagues and all who encountered the infamous Lewis charm.

A private burial, attended by family only, will be followed by a lively service of remembrance, which you are welcome to attend. It will be held at St Nicholas Church, Church Square, Shepperton, TW17 9JY at 3.00pm on Wednesday 10 October

And afterwards at The Warren Lodge Hotel next door, a celebration of Lynn’s life inspired by his own irrepressible nature.

Please feel free to drop in, to share a drink, a toast and a memory.

Val, Lindon, Carol and all the grandchildren look forward to seeing you there, to help them remember Lynn through the years. Charming, outrageous, entertaining, brilliant, stubborn…and much more.

In keeping with a celebration, we won’t be wearing black.

The family are providing the flowers, but if you would like to make a donation, please consider Alzheimer’s Research UK or Princess Alice Hospice.

You can do this through the Lodge Brothers website www.lodgebrothers.co.uk. Just click DONATE and enter ‘Lynn Lewis’ when prompted.

RSVP to Chris Murdoch chrism@nauticalia.com to help us with catering arrangements.
