Mainprize Offshore to build wind farm support and crew transfer vessel

Offshore vessel builder and operator, Mainprize Offshore, has announced it’s building a newbuild 26m SUPA-SWATH wind farm support and crew transfer vessel, MA1, in Taiwan.

The project is the second vessel in a range of CTVs from a collaboration between Mainprize Offshore and Walker Marine Design.

The design enables the vessel to carry large loads, enable transit in higher waves and in greater comfort, plus transfer in higher wave height.

“The MA1 is a continuation of the focus on pushing the offshore wind farm vessel envelope,” says Bob Mainprize, MD Mainprize Offshore.

A foiling dinghy glides on the water, showcasing high-performance equipment, alongside Pro-Set's epoxy solutions for composite manufacturing.
