Marine Chandlery named exclusive Selva outboard dealer in North East England

Marine Chandlery has announced it has entered a partnership as the sole authorised dealer of Selva outboard engines in North East England. 

Selva’s Italian-engineered outboards are used on a wide range of vessels, from tenders and dinghies to small recreational boats. 

Marine Chandlery will stock five key Selva models, each catering to different needs. The Oyster 6HP is said to be a dependable and quieter 4-stroke engine for calm waters and everyday use. The Sea Bass 6HP is lightweight, perfect for inflatable boats and a backup engine. 

For larger dinghies and small runabouts, the Black Bass 8HP delivers a mix of power and fuel efficiency. The Black Bass Big Foot 8HP is built for heavier boats that require extra torque, such as pontoons and sailboats. At the top of the range, the Piranha 9.9HP offers the most powerful performance. 

In late 2024, Marine Chandlery acquired Bayside Marine’s assets, signalling a strategic expansion in the marine retail sector just six months after its initial launch in June 2024. 

With immediate stock availability, the firm is positioned to provide pre-sales guidance and after-sales support for Selve customers across the region.
