Marine Resources appoints recruitment director

Oliver Wells Marine Resources

British marine recruitment company Marine Resources has appointed Oliver Wells to the position of recruitment director.

The appointment comes two years into Wells’ tenure at Marine Resources as executive search lead and managing consultant.

Outside of his recruitment work, Wells (pictured above) is a competitive yachtsman, having won national and European titles and competed in national and international race programmes.

At Marine Resources, Wells has also been instrumental in leading the sales marketing and operations division and the skilled trades division.

In the role of recruitment director, Wells will oversee all recruitment activity across all three key divisions of Marine Resources: design, engineering and technical; sales marketing and operations; and skilled trades.

“We are deeply committed to the future of the company, our clients, and our team,” says James Ward, CEO and founder of Marine Resources. “Placing Oliver in this senior leadership position is a strategic move to ensure our continued success and growth.”

Wells adds: “I am delighted to continue the journey with Marine Resources and our ever-growing client base. At Marine Resources, I have discovered like-minded individuals who share my passion and commitment to excellence in recruitment and the marine industry. A pleasure to be on board combining the passions and building long-serving trusted partnerships with clients.”
