MarineMax makes leadership changes
Charles A. Cashman, senior vice president of global yacht sales at MarineMax
MarineMax has announced a leadership change as Charles A. Cashman, the company’s chief revenue officer, takes on a newly focused role as senior vice president of global yacht sales.
As senior vice president, Cashman will oversee global yacht sales and brokerage operations. His responsibilities will now include managing strategy and execution, building manufacturer relationships and developing integrated sales and marketing initiatives.
Brett McGill, chief executive officer and president of MarineMax, says: “Strategic leadership, deep market knowledge and a relentless focus on growth have defined Chuck’s career with MarineMax. His proven ability to drive sales growth, build strong manufacturer relationships, and inspire high-performing teams will be instrumental as we expand our presence in the yacht and superyacht segments. Chuck’s appointment further enhances our ability to capture new opportunities and deliver exceptional value to our clients and partners worldwide.”
Cashman has worked with MarineMax since 1992, holding various roles including vice president of east operations and executive vice president of sales, marketing and manufacturer relations, before becoming chief revenue officer in 2016. He is also a member of the board of directors of the International Yacht Brokers Association.
Cashman says, “I’m honoured to take on this expanded role as we continue to broaden our global yacht sales organisation. Working alongside our talented team and exceptional brand partners, I look forward to building on our momentum, strengthening our client relationships, and advancing MarineMax’s leadership in the global yacht and superyacht markets.”
The news comes just weeks after MarineMax CFO Michael H. McLamb stepped down from the board amid a reshuffle.
