MDL Marinas continues J Cup Regatta partnership for 2026
MDL Marinas is continuing its sponsorship of the J Cup Regatta in 2026, extending its long-standing partnership with the UK J/Boats racing event and its tenant, Key Yachting.
The regatta takes place from 18-19 July 2026 at the Royal Southern Yacht Club in Hampshire, on the UK south coast, bringing together J/Boats owners and crews from across the UK for one-design racing, IRC competition and a social programme ashore.
The J Cup is an annual one-design keelboat racing event that attracts J/Boats owners and crews from around the country. Multiple classes compete across the weekend, with both amateur and professional sailors taking part. The event has become a regular fixture on the UK racing calendar.
The 2026 edition also includes the J/111 UK National Championship, with racing for that class running from Friday 17 July to Sunday 19 July.
As part of its sponsorship, MDL Marinas will once again provide J Cup caps for competitors. The company is also offering J Cup participants a 10 per cent discount on visitor berthing during the event at Hamble Point Marina, Port Hamble Marina and Mercury Yacht Harbour.
Competitors travelling with family and friends can stay at the nearby Mercury Holiday Park, which offers a range of accommodation a few minutes from the regatta venue.
