Mercury Marine agrees five-year outboard supply deal with Technohull
The agreement sets out a five-year exclusivity deal covering outboard engines across the Greek builder’s full model range
Mercury Marine, a division of Brunswick Corporation, has signed a five-year exclusivity agreement with Greek performance boat builder Technohull, to exclusively supply outboard engines across Technohull’s entire model range.
The agreement formalises an existing working relationship between the two companies and applies to all Technohull outboard-powered models produced during the term. It takes effect immediately.
Founded in 2005, Technohull designs and builds performance-oriented boats and rigid inflatable boats at its production facility in Lavrio, Greece. The company undertakes naval architecture, composite construction and finishing in-house. Its portfolio includes smaller high-speed RIBs as well as larger luxury and expedition-capable models, intended for operation in demanding offshore conditions. Technohull sells boats to customers in Europe, North America and the Middle East.
Technohull will install Mercury outboard engines across its range, including high-horsepower and performance-focused configurations. Supplier Zois Efstathiou will continue to act as Mercury’s distributor partner and will work alongside Technohull under the agreement.
“Technohull’s focus on performance, innovation and uncompromising build quality makes them an ideal partner for Mercury Marine,” said John Buelow, Mercury Marine president. “This exclusivity agreement underscores our confidence in Technohull’s continued growth and ensures its customers benefit from Mercury’s industry-leading outboard technology, performance and reliability.”
Gerasimos (Gerry) Petratos, founder and owner of Technohull, adds: “This partnership is a perfect fit with our philosophy of building boats with a performance-first mindset and zero compromises.”
