Metstrade 2025: strong early bookings driven by exhibition expansion

Following the record-breaking success of Metstrade 2024, the 2025 edition of the largest trade exhibition for equipment, materials, technology and systems for the global leisure marine industry is garnering strong interest and early bookings.

According to organisers, demand for stand space for the next edition of the trade fair, which will take place from 18–20 November 2025 in Amsterdam, has exceeded previous years, despite market challenges.

Metstrade expands superyacht and refit section

Metstrade 2025 will see an expansion of the exhibition, with an additional 8,000 square metres in Hall 8 dedicated to superyacht technology and refits, two sectors experiencing significant growth. The new space will include a dedicated theatre for industry trends and innovations, as well as a new restaurant to support networking opportunities.

Commenting on the high level of exhibitor interest, Niels Klarenbeek, director Metstrade, says: “The outstanding early interest in Metstrade 2025 demonstrates the industry’s resilience and drive for innovation. The expanded exhibition space, new features, and strong demand, particularly from the superyacht sector, are shaping up to make this our most dynamic edition yet. Metstrade continues to drive growth and facilitate connections, and we look forward to welcoming the global leisure marine industry once again in November.”

While the superyacht sector continues to thrive with a strong focus on advanced technology and refit solutions, the volume market remains stable, despite broader economic challenges. Exhibitors across the leisure marine sector remain confident, contributing to the strong early commitment to the event.

In 2024 the show reported 31,824 visits from 19,779 unique visitors.
