Metstrade 2026: Metstrain returns, early bird tickets now available

Metstrain Metstrain will feature a private carriage in the Eurostar, running from London to Amsterdam

Early bird tickets are now available for Metstrain, which will return for the 2026 edition of Metstrade after its launch in 2025. The rail service offers an alternative route for attendees travelling from the UK to Amsterdam ahead of the show.

Metstrain uses a private carriage on Eurostar services between London and Amsterdam dedicated to delegates travelling to Metstrade, taking place from 17-19 November 2026 at RAI Amsterdam.

The service departs London St Pancras International on Monday, 16 November 2026 and arrives at Amsterdam Central Station. This allows delegates time in the city before Metstrade opens on Tuesday, 17 November 2026.

There are also no weight limits to worry about, as travellers will be able to take as much luggage onboard as they can carry.

A travel coordinator will accompany the group throughout the journey. Passengers also receive a lunch package and an official show catalogue. The carriage is reserved for Metstrade attendees, giving passengers space to meet other visitors. Organisers state that onboard entertainment will also be provided.

A Metstrain ticket includes:

  • Personal welcome at London St Pancras train station
  • Metstrain check-in
  • Seat in a dedicated train compartment for Metstrade visitors
  • As much luggage as travellers can carry
  • Metstrade catalogue
  • Lunch, including a drink
  • A discount of 10-15 per cent on a return train ticket by Eurostar, based on your travel class.

At Metstrade 2025, visitor numbers increased by 4 per cent compared with 2024

Niels Klarenbeek, director of Metstrade, says: “We’re excited to bring back Metstrain for 2026, offering our UK delegates a smoother, greener and more connected way to travel to Metstrade. Following the fantastic response in 2025, this year’s dedicated Eurostar carriage once again transforms the journey from London to Amsterdam into an extension of the show itself, where valuable conversations, new connections and a sense of shared purpose begin before visitors even arrive.

“With early bird tickets now available, we look forward to welcoming attendees onboard for a relaxed, sustainable and truly memorable start to their Metstrade experience.”

Places are limited, and early booking is recommended. Early bird tickets are priced at €115 and rise to €145 after the early bird period. Tickets are available online now.

Metstrain tickets do not include entry to Metstrade. Registration for Metstrade tickets is expected to open in early July and must be completed separately.
