METSTRADE: Lineup for Start-Up Pavilion confirmed
Yachting Ventures has announced the lineup for the 2024 Start-Up Pavilion at METSTRADE, the world’s largest marine equipment trade show. This year, 15 companies in the leisure marine sector will present a range of software and hardware solutions aimed at advancing the industry.
Now in its second year, the Start-Up Pavilion offers a platform for emerging companies to showcase ideas, including propulsion systems, apps, platforms and sustainability solutions. Alongside the pavilion, Yachting Ventures will hold a pitching competition where five selected startups will present their ideas to investors and industry leaders.
The pavilion is sponsored by RoamingExpert, a provider of global connectivity and IT solutions for the superyacht industry. In a statement, RoamingExpert says: “We are thrilled to support emerging startups and offer our expertise. With our extensive portfolio, we provide customised services tailored to the unique needs of shoreside companies in the marine sector. We look forward to engaging in insightful discussions and connecting with new partners.”
METSTRADE 2024 will run from 19-21 November at the RAI Convention Centre in Amsterdam. Terry Hutchinson, the skipper and president of operations for New York Yacht Club American Magic, will address an international audience of marine professionals at the METSTRADE 2024 Breakfast Briefing on 19 November, the show’s opening day.
The 2024 Women in the Marine Industry International event — co-presented by Marine Industry News — will take place on Wednesday 20 November 2024, from 8.30-10.30am in the METSTRADE Theatre. The event is free to attend for all METSTRADE attendees and exhibitors but registration is required.
