North Carolina-based MJM Yachts has launched its new V Series at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS).

The company – which builds luxury performance yachts – says it’s known for its modern Carolina Downeast style and C5 composite construction process, and that its market-leading post-cured, epoxy-infusion composites process delivers all-conditions capability.

The V-Series is designed to complement the builder’s established X and R Series with a social layout.

“Following the debut of the 38V, the new 47V takes our contemporary, social, open-air philosophy for the V Series to a larger platform,” MJM Yachts president and CEO Natascia Hatch says. “This is a yacht designed not simply to accommodate guests, but to bring everyone on board together.”

MJM 47V’s layout is said to encourage guest conversation and connection with seating throughout. At the helm, there’s a new sport-inspired steering wheel offering a departure from the traditional destroyer-style wheel found aboard the MJM 47Xc.

The company’s also launching a refreshed design for the MJM 47R with a new galley-down arrangement that creates room for expanded seating in the pilothouse, while the raised deck allows for additional headroom and a larger second stateroom below.

In January this year, MJM Yachts appointed David Walters Yachts as a dealer covering the Bahamas and the Caribbean, including Turks & Caicos Islands, the British Virgin Islands, the US Virgin Islands, St. Maarten, St. Barths and St. Kitts & Nevis.

Seakeeper offered as stabilisation option across range

Back in 2025, it started offering Seakeeper exclusively as the gyrostabilization option for its full 2026 model lineup. The company was an early adopter of the Seakeeper gyrostabilization technology for smaller vessels – virtually eliminating boat roll for vessels ranging from megayachts down as small as 23 feet.

“We went back through the entire MJM range in developing our 2026 model line and looked for ways to upgrade our boats and improve the feeling of luxury and comfort they provide to our customers. We know that offering them the option to have a Seakeeper on board is a great way to enhance their boating experience,” Hatch said at the time.
