Navico announces strategic partnership with BRABUS Marine

BRABUS Marine has chosen Navico’s Simrad® marine electronics brand for their new BRABUS Shadow 900.  It will be making its World Premiere at the 2020 Dusseldorf Boat Show, which opens tomorrow. The new BRABUS Shadow 900 bridge incorporates four Simrad Information Display screens, dual 12” and dual 9”, that give a real ‘glass bridge’ feel, something usually only found on superyachts. The “Loop P” digital switching system on an additional 7” display, delivers a fully integrated boating experience.

“We are excited to announce our partnership with BRABUS Marine,” says Alexander Berg, Director OEM Integration, Navico EMEA. “We have been working very closely with the team at BRABUS to deliver an integrated system bespoke to the BRABUS brand.”

The new BRABUS Shadow 900 has a fully personalized, brand specific UI that can be found across all screens. This unique interface delivers a customized experience to the user. Giving the driver full control at the touch of a button, the advanced system integration incorporates Mercury outboard engines, entertainment, fluid levels and power management systems, Isotta steering wheel and lighting into the Simrad ecosystem.

BRABUS Marine is the result of an alliance between Finnish boat builder Axopar Boats and high-performance car producer BRABUS. Commenting on its new partnership
