Navico Group’s Fathom e-power brand has partnered with Integrel Solutions to develop a new integrated power solution offering boaters ‘complete monitoring and control.’

“Partnering with Integrel Solutions was a seamless fit as it bolsters our commitment to driving electrification in the marine industry and beyond,” said Ton De Winter, EMEA president of Navico Group, which is a Brunswick division.

“By combining the two leading brands’ innovative technology, we can deliver a more advanced, reliable power solution that enhances the boating experience. We both serve a multitude of customers across EMEA whose power needs vary, and this partnership allows us to not only meet those requirements but opens us up to new opportunities in the market.”

Combining components from Navico Group brands, including Mastervolt, BEP, CZone, Ancor and Blue Sea Systems, the Fathom e-power system is billed as an alternative to traditional genset solutions.

Navico says the ‘vertically integrated lithium-ion power management system’ consists of energy storage, power conversion and digital monitoring and control, allowing users to extend time away from the charge source by providing more battery capacity and efficiently managing the electrical system.

The Integrel system, currently available for inboard diesel engines, generates power by pulling up to 18kW of spare power from the engines. This integrates with the Fathom system to store the power in a Mastervolt lithium battery bank, where it is managed and allows users to receive information on demand to monitor and control their power consumption.

This system is said to eliminate the noise, vibration and fumes associated with traditional generators.
