New Americas sales manager for OceanLED

OceanLED has appointed Peter Hughes as its Americas sales manager. In this role, Hughes will oversee the sales strategy and growth across OceanLED’s North and South American division.

Hughes joins OceanLED with over 30 years of experience and a proven track record, most recently as vice president of sales & marketing at Brownell Boat Stands.

“Peter’s appointment reflects the need for us to further enhance our team with experienced talent as the business grows,” says Daniele Todaro, MD & CEO, OceanLED.

OceanLED is a UK-based company which manufactures LED lighting systems for superyachts, leisure and fishing boats and docks. It says it started the marine LED revolution in 2005 and has projects at the world’s most prestigious boat yards and boat builders. The company has built a global dealer network based on its technical achievements, industry recognition and constant pursuit of excellence in the field of underwater lighting.

Its current product line serves a multitude of uses on board for all sizes of boats; from three metre RIBs to the large superyachts.
