New Fairline Yachts dealership announced for Finland and Estonia
British luxury yacht manufacturer, Fairline Yachts, has announced MP Yachts OY as a new dealer in Finland and Estonia. Based in Helsinki, MP Yachts OY will trade as Fairline Finland.
Founded in 2012, MP Yachts OY specialise in the sale of luxury yachts for brokerage in Finland, Estonia and the Mediterranean. The company’s owner Mika Papunen, has worked in the industry since 1989 and sold his first Fairline, a Targa 28, in 1996.
Mika Papunen comments: “Before founding MP Yachts OY, I was employed by a former dealer of Fairline’s in Finland and have sold around 30 of the brand’s yachts in my time. I have always admired the design, performance and quality which is associated with a Fairline model and it is a great honour to be representing the brand in Finland and Estonia going forward.”
Fairline’s CEO, David Tydeman, adds: “We feel confident that Mika’s knowledge of the market and of Fairline Yachts, coupled with our award winning models designed by Alberto Mancini will be a winning combination. We pride ourselves on having a dealer network based on mutual investment, support and success, and we are pleased to welcome MP Yachts OY to the team.”
Fairline Finland will join Fairline HQ on the booth at Boot Düsseldorf and Cannes Yachting Festival in 2019. The new dealership will also be representing Fairline Yachts in Estonia at Meremess in March and in Finland at the Helsinki Boat Show in February and the Uiva Boat Show in August.
