Fliteboard is launching the Series 5 Fliteboard at the Miami International Boat Show, which incorporates Flite Jet 2 – a new jet system developed in collaboration with Mercury Marine.

The Fliteboard 5 is designed to offer riders a smoother, quieter experience on the water.

“We are launching the Series 5 Fliteboard with a groundbreaking jet design,” says Nick Stickler, Fliteboard’s president. “Flite has been dedicated to transforming the world of water sports, and with Flite Jet 2, we are setting new benchmarks. Series 5 is crafted with every rider in mind, delivering an experience that enhances the thrill for enthusiasts of all skill levels.”

“Mercury’s technical collaboration with Flite has been a perfect fit,” says John Scherer, Brunswick technical fellow specialising in hydrodynamics and propulsion. “Mercury was able to contribute industry-leading propulsion system design and analysis along with materials and manufacturing methods to enhance Flite’s deep knowledge of their product and market, resulting in the completely re-invented, customer-focused Flite Jet 2.”

Developers claim it is the most efficient eFoil jet, comparable to our prop guard, resulting in significantly longer ride times than the original Flite Jet which makes it suitable for Flitecell Sport and Nano for advanced riders.

Series 5 Flite Jet 2 is designed as the ultimate upgrade to any board.

Pricing ranges from US$7,395 to $18,995.
