A new boat show has been confirmed for the French city of Nice, focused on sustainability and innovation in the boating industry.

Organised by the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur, the Nice Côte d’Azur Tourist Office, and Grand Pavois Organisation, Nice Boating Tomorrow 2026 will take place from Thursday 19 March to Sunday 22 March 2026 at Quai Amiral Infernet and inside the Conference Center at the Port of Nice.

Organisers say the new event is designed to address the environmental transition in the boating industry and present solutions aimed at reducing its environmental impact.

The programme includes boat and product exhibitions, an international forum, meetings, panel discussions, sea trials, demonstrations and awareness raising initiatives for professionals and the general public. The event follows the United Nations Ocean Conference in Nice.

In separate good news for the French boat show industry, the French Nautical Industries Federation (FIN) announced the launch of a new Paris-based boat show this week. The new Paris Nautic Show will take place from Wednesday, November 26 to Sunday, November 30 2025, at the Parc des Expositions du Bourget in north-east Paris. The indoor show is being organised through FIN’s event subsidiary M2O.

The French boating industry comprises over 5,000 companies and employs approximately 150,000 people directly and indirectly. More than 70 per cent of its production is exported. Boating is particularly important to the economies of France’s coastal regions, including the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region, and is seen as a sector that can drive environmental progress.

A partnership agreement was signed by Christian Estrosi, mayor of Nice, president of the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur, vice president of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region, and president of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Tourist Office, and Alain Pochon, president of Grand Pavois Organisation. The agreement formalises the collaboration between Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur and Grand Pavois Organisation, which has organised Grand Pavois La Rochelle since 1973, for the launch of Nice Boating Tomorrow in March 2026.

The four-day event will feature exhibitors both on land and on the water, with opportunities for sea trials and demonstrations.
