Nimbus appoints interim CFO
Nimbus Group has appointed Christian Johansson as interim chief financial officer (CFO), effective 1 March.
Throughout March, Johansson will work alongside the current CFO, Rasmus Alvemyr, who announced his departure from the boatbuilding group in December 2025 and will leave the company on 31 March.
Johansson’s previous positions include serving as Group CFO of SKF. He has worked for Volvo Group, Kongsberg Automotive ASA, and Gunnebo and brings more than 30 years’ experience in senior leadership positions.
The change of CFO comes at a signficant time for the company. In February 2026, the Swedish leisure motorboat manufacturer reported lower sales and earnings for the fourth quarter and full year 2025.
“With Christian Johansson, Nimbus Group gains a highly experienced leader and finance executive who will support the company both in the role of CFO and in the process of recruiting a permanent successor,” says Johan Inden, CEO of Nimbus Group.
Late last year, Nimbus Group announced it would be restructuring its senior leadership team.
Johansson also holds a Master of Science in Business and Economics from Stockholm University.
