Renovation of Oklahoma marina completed

Nine Marina Oklahoma

US-based marina construction firm Marine Development Inc. (MDI) has completed the renovation of Nine Marina in Eufaula, Oklahoma.

The improvements and planning began in 2022 when Nine Marina owner Jake Nossaman sought out MDI for work on the project, which involved a mix of new construction and expansion of existing elements. The construction was completed in 2023.

Nossaman says his goal with the renovation was not only to expand the marina’s useable space but to create a welcome destination that was inviting boaters, residents and visitors who enjoy lake-side amenities.

The project included the construction of a ship store and fuel dock, as well as an overall expansion of the marina by 34 covered slips.

The store platform is 100 feet square, and in addition to the store, it includes a cantina, restrooms, and double courtesy slips for easy access for patrons. There is a large fuel dock and eight double slips to reduce wait times. The piers are extra wide for safety, and the fuel dock incorporates a storage platform.

Oklahoma-based MDI specialises in marina construction, expansions, restoration and repair, wave attenuators, fuel docks and more. Founded in 1991, the firm is currently led by owner Mick Webber and president Scott Mauldin.
