OMAYA 50 Omaya 50

Bulgarian powercat brand Omaya Yachts has appointed Mirgi Yacht as its representative in Turkey.

Mirgi Yacht was founded in 2021 by a team with over a decade of experience in the catamaran industry. The company will offer Omaya Yachts’ products in Turkey, a market that has been expanding rapidly in recent years.

Bulgarian family-owned business Elica Group launched Omaya Yachts earlier this year. Its first model, the Omaya 50, recently emerged from the mould at the Elica Yard on the Danube. It is due on the water later this month.

Yener Gayret of Mirgi Yacht comments: “The Turkish market has been growing very fast, especially since the post pandemic normalisation process. With Turkey’s over 8,000 km long coastline and unique bays, yacht tourism is seeing a significant uptick. The Omaya product, with its exceptional design and vast interior volumes, is perfectly suited to meet the demands of our discerning clientele. We’re confident in the sales potential of the Omaya 50 and are excited to offer our customers not just a product, but a reliable and luxurious experience.”

Kaloyan Radulov, co-founder and CEO of Omaya Yachts, adds: “We’re excited to partner with Mirgi Yacht to represent Omaya in the Turkish market. The team’s deep expertise in the catamaran industry and commitment to customer satisfaction aligns perfectly with our values. As the Turkish market continues to grow, with the number of boats increasing from one per 2000 people in 2022 to one per 750 people in 2024, we believe Mirgi Yacht is ideally positioned to introduce Omaya’s luxury catamarans to this burgeoning market.”

Mirgi Yacht will provide sales, technical support, and maintenance services to Omaya catamaran owners in Turkey.
