Omniyat acquires new island in Dubai

Omniyat has acquired Marasi Bay Island in the Burj Khalifa district, expanding its vision for this luxury waterfront development in Dubai.
Marasi Bay Island will feature the Marasi Bay Marina on the island’s south side, operated by Omniyat with berths for superyachts, a tender boat service and an exclusive yacht club.
The reclaimed island of Marasai Bay will offer high-end amenities by Omniyat, including the first beach club in the Burj Khalifa District.
Mahdi Amjad, founder and executive chairman of Omniyat, says: “In a re-imagined approach to urban living, we are reshaping Marasi Bay into Dubai’s definitive ultra-luxury waterfront destination, and Marasi Bay Island is another jewel in its crown, complementing this luxurious ecosystem with exceptional waterfront experiences.”
The Dubai marine sector is undergoing marked growth and investment, most recently evident at the expanding Dubai International Boat Show.

The south promenade will also introduce wellness and lifestyle features such as padel courts, a children’s play area, a running track, and an art trail.
Residents will also have access to Sunset Park, a 30,000 square ft private floating island with wellness spaces, chef’s kitchen, yoga terraces, and private jetty access.
The project follows Omniyat’s landmark developments, including The Lana Hotel and Residences, Dorchester Collection, Dubai, and Vela Viento, Dorchester Collection, Dubai. The ultra-premium commercial property, Enara by Omniyat, will further connect business, lifestyle and design excellence on the waterfront.
In a statement, the company says: ‘Marasi Bay promises to be a hub of elevated lifestyle experiences orchestrated by the world’s finest brands, artists and innovators, adding an exciting new dimension to Dubai’s future.’
In 2024, Omniyat joined forces with marina company D-Marin to continue operations and management of the 157-berth Business Bay Marina in Dubai.
