P&D Marine Group partners with Excel Boats

The UK’s P&D Marine Group has announced a new strategic partnership with Excel Boats, a Midlands-based manufacturer of inflatable and rigid inflatable boats.

The partnership means Excel Boats will utilise P&D Marine Group’s European network and for P&D Trailers, which is part of the P&D Marine Group, to widen the availability of their road trailers.

We extend this across our commercial businesses, Pontoon and Dock, P&D Environmental, P&D Marine Services, and Multi-Mover UK. Our aim is to offer solutions, to be a one-stop shop for our clients’ needs, and the partnership with Excel Boats absolutely fits into that strategy.”

P&D Boats has rapidly expanded onto the retail boat market, having launched last year at the Southampton International Boat Show. Its boats are hand-built using traditional hand lay-up methods in its site in Kirkham, Blackpool.
