Princess Yachts announces Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show line-up

Princess Yachts will present the show premiere of the Princess V50 sports yacht at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (26-30 October 2022).

This year’s event will also showcase the flagship of the Princess range, the X95 super flybridge yacht. Completing the seven-yacht display will be the Princess Y85, Y72, F55, F45 and the sporty S62.

Designed by the Princess Design Studio in collaboration with naval architects Olesinski and Italian design house, Pininfarina, the all-new V50 has new hull, deck and canopy moulds. At the heart of the new deep-V hull are twin Volvo Penta IPS600 or IPS650 engines that can reach speeds of over 30 knots.

The V50 has a new extended full-length hull window graphic which integrates the aft air intake, also seen on the Princess V55. The cockpit and bathing platform are arranged to maximise the levels of outdoor living space as seen on larger vessels, with practical access from both sides of the transom to both cockpit and side decks.

Below deck, a bright, open galley with a bespoke moulded sink, two-zone ceramic hob, combination microwave/convection oven and full-height fridge/freezer is opposite a generous U-shaped seating area, which can be replaced with a third two-berth cabin.

Four guests can enjoy two cabins that are filled with natural light from the extensive hull glazing, with a full-beam master stateroom situated amidships.

The V50 is said to be designed for year-round cruising with flexible spaces and innovative design solutions to maximise cruising comfort and outdoor enjoyment.

James Nobel, vice president and marketing director of Princess Yachts America, says: “We look forward to welcoming visitors to experience the exceptional Princess models on display, as well as learn more about a number of exciting upcoming models.”
