Propspeed appoints EMEA sales director

Underwater foul-release company Propspeed has appointed Davide Burrini as its new sales director for the region of Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

With 13 years of experience in the marine industry, Italian native Burrini has developed a strong expertise in commercial strategy, sales, and business development.

“I’m excited to be starting this new journey with Propspeed,” says Burrini. “It’s a great opportunity to further explore the marine industry from a new angle, and champion Propspeed’s growth strategy in EMEA with our existing established partners and new business leads. Propspeed products include Propspeed for running gear and any underwater metals, Foulfree for transducers, Lightspeed for underwater lighting and Stripspeed, a solvent-based stripper that removes foul-release coatings from underwater metals.

In August, MIN reported that the Propspeed foul-release coating system had received Type Approval from Bureau Veritas.
