Quick strengthens partnership with LKQ Aquafax

quick group

Marine equipment manufacturer Quick has reinforced its partnership with distributor LKQ Aquafax.

Italian company Quick manufactures winches, windlasses, capstans and anchoring accessories, water heaters, thrusters and lighting products. Aquafax is the UK’s largest marine distributor, supplying a wide range of technical products to marine retailers, installers and OEMs.

The two firms originally partnered in January 2021. The enhanced partnership now extends to comprehensive technical support, with LKQ Aquafax‘s team of marine experts providing support for Quick’s range of products. In addition, LKQ Aquafax will conduct training programmes for dealers and installers, sharing knowledge about Quick’s products.

The partnership will also see both Quick and LKQ Aquafax collaborating on marketing campaigns, promotions and events.

“Maintaining our collaboration with LKQ Aquafax as one of our key distributors aligns with our commitment to providing the best-in-class marine solutions to our customers,” says Andy J Sims, managing director of Quick UK.

“LKQ Aquafax’s dedication to technical support and their understanding of the marine industry makes them the ideal partner to enhance our reach and customer satisfaction.”

Mike Lewis, sales director of LKQ leisure and marine, adds: “Aquafax joined forces with Quick because the brand is known for pushing the boundaries of marine technology. This partnership allows us to offer our customers a comprehensive range of innovative products backed by our exceptional technical support. Together, we aim to set new standards in the marine equipment industry.”

Earlier this month, Quick USA — the US arm of Italy-based Quick — acquired Yachting Marine Service (YMS), a Florida-based yacht service firm, which Quick says will become a key service hub for the group.
