Rapid Marine introduces new Seabob Chocks for luxury yachts
Rapid Marine has unveiled its latest addition to the yacht accessories market with the introduction of bespoke Seabob Chocks. Developed for one of the most popular water toys in the leisure marine sector, the new chocks are designed to provide a secure, durable and removable storage system to keep Seabob F5 models stable and protected on the bathing platform once guests return from the water.
Handcrafted from Iroko wood to blend in with teak decking, the chocks are designed to minimise movement, prevent deck marks and reduce clutter. Each unit incorporates soft protective pads, an evolution of Rapid Marine’s DAME Award-nominated Universal Chocks to add an extra layer of protection and preserve the Seabob’s finish.
“We’ve had customers requesting a tailored storage solution for Seabobs for some time now,” says Mike Evers, managing director of Rapid Marine. “After showcasing the product at Metstrade 2024 in Amsterdam, the response was overwhelmingly positive and we’re excited to bring it to market.”
Unlike fixed storage solutions, these chocks can be repositioned, allowing guests and crew to move them wherever the Seabob is needed. Designed in two variations to suit your deck, one freestanding and one with pins to work with our Universal Deck Fittings. This ensures a tidy, safe, and flexible platform without bulky mechanisms interfering with the guest experience.
The Seabob F5 Chocks will be available for purchase directly from Rapid Marine online now and through select European stockists from October 2025.
