Renovations for Medway Queen

Medway Queen has been moved to Ramsgate’s Royal Harbour for a hull repaint and maintenance.

As well as her hull anodes being checked, the paddle wheels will be grit-blasted and repainted.

The saloon window frames will be re-varnished and the deck rails and stanchions will be replaced where necessary and sealed against the weather.

Work on the windows, deck rails and stanchions can be carried out on the slipway, rather than on a tidal berth.

The Medway Queen Preservation Society says it welcomes donations towards the cost.
