Rightboat launches ‘transparent pricing’ for yacht brokers
Rightboat team,Rightboat.com, an online platform for buying and selling boats, has launched its ‘Switch and Save’ campaign. The initiative provides yacht brokers with an alternative to high listing fees, focusing on cost-effectiveness and pricing transparency.
The campaign addresses concerns over rising fees and non-transparent costs with flexible subscription options based on business size, marketing needs, and premium listing requirements. Limited-time discounts and free trial periods are available for brokers switching to the platform, alongside referral incentives and a pricing model that avoids hidden fees.
Rightboat.com is managed by a team of industry specialists, including former yacht brokers, and is led by veteran boat sales advisor Ian Atkins, CEO. Alistair Walton is the firm’s sales director for the UK and EU, with Julian Gowing and Jessica Heizer as US sales directors. Josie Tucci is VP of marketing and GM of North America.
Rightboat.com says it offers several features designed to support brokers, including simplified bulk upload and data migration, CRM integration, lead tracking, and real-time analytics. Listings are SEO-optimised and supported by targeted advertising to maximise visibility, with a mobile-responsive platform providing convenience for users. The platform excludes private sellers and plans to launch a customer advisory panel to collaborate with OEMs, dealers, and brokers.
David O’Rourke of Approved Boats says, “We have a multi-brand business with almost 100 pre-owned boats for sale. Last year, we tasked Rightboat with increasing our exposure, they definitely delivered. I am very pleased with the results and look forward to seeing them continue to deliver value for us.
