SailGP returns for races in Plymouth and Europe this summer

The SailGP fleet of hydrofoiling F50s will arrive in Europe for the summer with four European events planned.

Following successful events in Bermuda and Chicago, SailGP will return to Plymouth in late July, and in August, will visit Denmark’s capital city Copenhagen for the Rockwool Denmark Sail Grand Prix. Two more European dates will follow in September: Saint-Tropez in France, and Cádiz in Andalucía.

The SailGP league made a recent decision to exclude the Japan SailGP team for failing to make the starting line this season. Consequently, the competition will continue with the remaining nine other teams.

As well as waterfront views of the action, there is an exclusive SailGP Adrenaline Yachts programme for boat owners who want to catch the racing from the comfort of their own yacht. Sponsored by BWA Yachting, the limited availability membership guarantees a premium position with unrivalled views in a designated area on the racecourse perimeter. Membership also grants complimentary merchandise and access to additional event activities.

  • August 19-20 ROCKWOOL Denmark Sail Grand Prix | Copenhagen
