Scania USA appoints new president

USA-based engine manufacturer Scania has appointed Jorg Franzke as president of Scania USA.

Franzke succeeds Håkan Sterner, who will move back to Sweden after five years at Scania USA.

In this position, Franzke will be responsible for the company’s operations. For the last ten years, Franzke has been the head of power solutions at Scania Germany.

He has been working for Scania since 1995, and has experience in various positions such as services, truck sales, R&D, network development and quality management.
 
Franzke will be moving from Frankfurt, Germany, to San Antonio, Texas, which is where the headquarters for Scania USA are based.
