Scanstrut appoints UK distributor

Scanstrut has entered into a new agreement with marine distribution expert, Barrus for the UK market.

Barrus will represent the global outdoor technologies brand, supplying the full range of products to its UK dealer base and carrying out the installation of Scanstrut products as standard on Zodiac RIBs.

The company says the Scanstrut product portfolio is a perfect match for Barrus’ newly acquired marine electronics portfolio from Navico.

“Supplying Scanstrut marine mounts, ScanPods and cable seals with Simrad electronics, allows the customer to have everything they need in one box to complete a full electronics package installation from one supplier in one delivery,” says Ben Allen, general manager of the Marine Leisure Division at Barrus.

Ryan Sams, Scanstrut distribution sales manager adds: “Working alongside Barrus’ renowned technical and sales teams, Scanstrut is proud to have partnered with a distributor who has such a great reputation for customer care and product knowledge.”

The announcement comes ahead of BoatLife Live, where Barrus will display Scanstrut products on its stand. BoatLife Live is a new UK marine show held in Birmingham and the first boat show before the highly anticipated 2022 season.
