The event was inaugurated by Pier Paolo Ponchia, managing director of Easyfairs Italy
Seaquip (Mediterranean Yacht & Marine Equipment Trade Fair) 2026 opened its first edition at Fiera Milano Rho in Milan, Italy, yesterday (4 March 2026), marking the launch of the new B2B event dedicated to yacht accessories and components.
To coincide with the start of the new trade fair, MIN has published a special Seaquip magazine issue, which can be read online here.
The show, which runs until 6 March 2026, has seen strong attendance from professionals, industry operators and specialist media on its first day. Activity was centred in Hall 8, which is dedicated to the yachting and marine equipment sector.
The exhibition is being devised and organised by Easyfairs Italy, part of Easyfairs Group, which runs more than 110 events in 12 countries. The event was inaugurated by Pier Paolo Ponchia, managing director of Easyfairs Italy.
The three-day programme includes conferences and StandOut Speeches alongside the exhibition area.
The Deck Area, organised with technical partner 365 Yachting, functions as a networking space that combines informal discussions with scheduled meetings, giving participants room for both planned and ad hoc exchanges.
Daniele Guidi, quality & sustainability manager at marine accessories manufacturer Guidi, says: “An important Italian B2B event dedicated to marine equipment is essential for the sector, and its location in Milan is ideal for ensuring an international dimension, especially looking to the future, thanks to its prestige and easy accessibility.
“For this reason, we decided to participate in Seaquip, contributing to the growth of the project from the very beginning. We believe in this new exhibition and hope it will open new perspectives for us.”
Gianni Zucco, co-founder of HP Watermakers, present at the fair with Together We Boat, adds: “I’ve seen a great deal of activity, and I’m pleased that Milan can also attract the world of marine equipment and accessories.”

The first day featured three conferences and three StandOut Speeches. A panel organised by the R&D department of Azimut-Benetti Group outlined current research and development activities and gave an overview of selected projects. It presented collaborations with Asea Nautica on the Hotel Mode and Mild Hybrid projects on board the Azimut Grande 44M, with MAN on the integrated hybrid system for the Benetti B.Neos 40M and with Saim on the Exilator system for onboard generators.

Participants included representatives from Volvo Penta, Vulkan, MAN, MTU and SYBAss Superyacht Builders Association.
The third panel, The Foiling Frontier, was also organised by RINA and featured contributions from RINA, Ferretti Group, Sanlorenzo Yacht and Foiling Organization, focusing on developments in foiling applications.
