Singapore Yachting Festival joins IFBSO network
Singapore Yachting Festival returns to One°15 Marina Sentosa Cove in April 2026
The International Federation of Boat Show Organisers (IFBSO) has added the Singapore Yachting Festival (SYF) to its membership, extending the federation’s presence in Southeast Asia.
The festival will take place from 23-26 April 2026 at One°15 Marina Sentosa Cove in Singapore. Alongside vessels on display, the Singapore Yachting Festival includes a number of onshore and experiential activities, including a Spotlight Zone, presenting masterclasses focused on wine, whisky and culinary subjects. The programme also includes design discussions with Porsche designers.
The programme also lists daily supercar parades, dining activities and an Experiential Zone offering electric foiling, paddleboarding and underwater propulsion devices.
Discussion around these types of features was raised during the IFBSO Congress 2025 in Palma de Mallorca. Data presented at the congress indicated that 47 per cent of boat shows have introduced festival-style programming to broaden the profile of boat show visitors.

“The Singapore Yachting Festival reflects where many best boat shows are heading,” says Veda Pretorius, executive director of IFBSO. “It takes the boating lifestyle seriously as a complete experience – on the water, on land and across generations.”
Jonathan Sit, show director of the Singapore Yachting Festival, adds: “Against an evolving global backdrop, improved participation at this year’s festival shows that Asia remains a key area of interest for the yachting industry, with Singapore continuing to serve as an important platform for regional engagement. With new elements introduced this year, we are expanding how visitors experience the world of yachting beyond the vessels themselves.”
SYF joins several other events in Asia that are members of IFBSO. These include the Korea International Boat Show, the China (Shanghai) International Boat Show, China (Macau) International Yacht Import & Export Show and the China (Xiamen) International Boat Show.
Membership provides SYF with access to IFBSO benchmarking data and professional working groups. Members also take part in federation meetings and industry events.
The ICOMIA & IFBSO Congress 2026 will take place in Washington DC from 26-28 May.
Organisers say the event coming to the US ‘comes at a pivotal time for international collaboration, trade dialogue and market development across the leisure marine sector.’
