Solé Advance enters US market with EPA-certified marine gensets at IBEX 2026

Solé Advance is entering the US market with a range of EPA-certified marine generator sets, with the Barcelona-based company set to exhibit at IBEX Tampa 2026 for the first time.

The move comes as Solé expands its production facilities to support its broader growth plans.

The company says its appearance at the US recreational boating trade show marks a new stage in its North American expansion, with Solé seeking new distribution partners among distributors, shipyards and marine service companies.

“The United States is a strategic market for Solé, and IBEX represents an important step in our international expansion,” says Marieli Solé, managing director at Solé. “It offers us the opportunity to introduce our EPA-certified marine generator range, build new commercial relationships, and identify the right distribution partners.”

The generator sets have been adapted to US market requirements and are designed to provide onboard power for recreational vessels and professional applications, according to Solé.

At IBEX, the company will highlight its EPA-certified generator sets, compact designs, maintenance requirements, and availability of genuine spare parts.

Building a North American network

Solé is looking to establish commercial relationships with distributors, shipyards and technical service companies specialising in marine equipment as it develops its presence in North America.

“The US market represents a major opportunity for Solé, both because of its internal demand and the role of European shipyards building vessels for this destination,” says Jaume Colillas, export sales representative at Solé.

“We are looking for solid local partners who can represent the brand, advise customers and provide close support. Our authorised distributor network is key to growing sustainably in each market.”

Founded in 1912 and based in Barcelona, Solé is a family-owned manufacturer of marine engines, generator sets, driveline components and onboard power solutions. The company says it has a presence in more than 60 countries.
