Solé Advance, the marine engine and genset manufacturer, is undertaking a comprehensive upgrade of its production facilities, with construction works having commenced in September 2025. The investment forms part of the company’s post-rebranding strategy and is intended to expand production capacity, improve operational efficiency and strengthen its sustainability credentials.

As part of this strategy, Solé Advance has acquired an adjacent plot of land, which will allow for the expansion of its production and logistics capacity in the medium term.

The transformation includes the progressive modernisation of the production plant, with the installation of a new test bench, more efficient assembly lines, expanded paint booths, reorganisation of workspaces, modernisation of warehouses and offices, and optimisation of outdoor areas and docks to improve day-to-day logistics.

A video of the proposed redevelopment and process can be seen below.

This facility upgrade follows a company rebrand and is designed to support the company’s future growth. Marieli Solé, MD of Solé Advance, discussed integration, growth strategies and the importance of family legacy with MIN in 2025.

The works are being carried out in phases in order to minimise any impact on daily operations. Throughout the entire process, production, deliveries and customer service continue as usual, reflecting Solé Advance’s strong commitment to reliability and service continuity.

Sustainability is a core pillar of the project. Materials and rubble generated during the demolition phases are being reused in the construction of the new structures, waste management has been optimised, and the new layout is designed to sit in harmony with the surrounding natural environment.

The upgrades are due to be completed in 2027.

The project also places strong emphasis on the people behind Solé Advance. Plans include the expansion and reorganisation of parking areas, as well as the creation of landscaped spaces and new rest areas, aimed at improving employee comfort, wellbeing and overall working conditions.

Solé Advance specialises in marine propulsion and power generation, converting engines (from 16 to 270hp) and generator sets (from 4 to 200kW) for marine use. The company also produces a wide range of marine accessories such as shafts, propellers, and couplings.
