Yachting Ventures, the global growth platform for leisure marine startups, and the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show have revealed the eight businesses showcasing in this year’s Innovation Zone.

Capital Events, part of the ADNEC Group, organise the show, which is in its sixth year and will be held from 21 to 24 November at the ADNEC Center. Last year, the show attracted over 34,000 visitors.

This year’s Innovation Zone will expand beyond the future of clean technology – the focus of the previous edition – and feature broader maritime innovations, with solutions ranging from AI-assisted navigation and camera technology to low-emission vessels.

The eight startups exhibiting are as follows:

Expedition Zero is launching its first ultra-low emission vessel in 2025 with a planned Northwest Passage voyage.

Voltsafe has introduced magnetic shore power systems with arc-free connections, enhancing marine safety and efficiency.

iNav4U have developed Zora OS, an integrated yacht management platform, eliminating the need for multiple apps.

Elevene builds 100 per cent solar-powered boats that demonstrate a 20-nautical-mile range capability. This Finnish start-up was also part of the 2023 Innovation Zone lineup.

Pollentia is an electric boat builder that utilises lithium-ion batteries and integrates proprietary AI assistance systems.

Lookout has built an advanced marine camera system with infrared capabilities and advanced algorithms.

Archipelago Expedition Yachts manufactures recyclable aluminium vessels with accessibility design, including high-low stern platforms and extra-wide saloon doors.

Dreamer Yachts builds boats using Rockshell technology by combining natural materials with performance.

Yachting Ventures also recently announced the lineup of 15 companies for the 2024 Start-Up Pavillion, which will return to METSTRADE.

Stay up to date on upcoming boat shows and events in the next few months.
