Polish multihull builder Sunreef Yachts has established its first Eco Club at the Citychamp Dartong Yacht Club in Fuzhou, China, expanding its presence across Asia Pacific.

The facility will showcase the firm’s eco-friendly catamarans and serve as a regional centre for sustainable boating initiatives.

During the launch, Nina Lee Boudoul, Sunreef’s director of Asia Pacific, presented the club’s sustainability strategy. The location was chosen for its existing electric vessel infrastructure and alignment with clean boating practices.

“With the Sunreef Eco Club in Fuzhou, we unlock new possibilities and enter a dynamic and proactive local yachting scene. The region provides an outstanding environment to grow and keep promoting sustainable yachting technologies,” states Francis Lapp, Sunreef Yachts founder and president.

Notable attendees included senior executives from Citychamp Dartong Co, Ltd., the president of the China Sports Chamber of Commerce, women’s volleyball athlete Ting Qia, and women’s 800m swimmer Luomeng Ren.
