To support its growth trajectory, Sunreef has announced its implementing a €30 million industrial expansion programme across its two major production facilities. Based around its ‘strong’ 2025 performance which showcased its financial resilience, the company (with production in Poland and the UAE) has set what it calls a ‘clear trajectory toward €1 billion in revenue.’

Strong 2025 performance underpins growth

In 2025, Sunreef Yachts increased its revenue by 10 per cent compared to 2024, achieving a net profit of €40 million. The company says it’s ranked as the 6th largest shipyard worldwide in the 24m+ segment. Now it’s looking at a strategic vision – which it’s calling Beyond 2030 – to accelerate the development of its global sales architecture, expand strategic partnerships and reinforce representation in key markets.

“In a demanding market, our performance confirms the consistency of our strategy,” says Francis Lapp, founder and CEO of Sunreef Yachts. “Beyond 2030 is about scaling with purpose, investing, innovating and positioning Sunreef among the absolute leaders of global yachting. Our goal is clear: €1 billion in revenue while remaining independent and future driven.”

Premiumisation and product innovation at the core

The plan is to continue industrial expansion, have continuous new yacht design and product development all while investing in further ‘premiumisation’ of the product range. Within this, Sunreef’s pushing hard for a vertically integrated production model to ensure scalability in line with future demand.

Geographic diversification in high growth regions is firmly on the map, as the company looks to expand its superyacht offering through new builds and projects under development.

The investment is all about formalising a transformation which Sunreef says is already underway – to align its industrial capacity, commercial architecture and technological innovation in ways to push it to the stated goal: €1 billion in annual revenue by 2030.

In Gdańsk, Poland, the shipyard employs over 2,000 specialists. There, construction of a new 160-metre production hall is underway which will significantly increase overall manufacturing capacity and operational efficiency. The Ras Al Khaimah UAE facility brings together more than 1,100 artisans, engineers and collaborators. The plan is to soon integrate new composite and CNC production units, an enlarged carpentry workshop and upgraded logistics infrastructure. These enhancements are scheduled to be fully operational by summer 2026.

Sunreef recently announced it had appointed Yvan Eymieu as global commercial director. He has previously held senior international positions within the power catamaran segment, including global sales director (excluding Americas) for Aquila Catamarans and Asia sales director for Leopard Catamarans.

The appointment came shortly after Sunreef inaugurated a new office at Las Olas Marina in Fort Lauderdale in November 2025. The company has also recently appointed Philip Bell as its US managing director. In early February, Sunreef named OMR Premium Yachting as its official dealer for the Western Balkans and the Adriatic coast, extending its dealer network in Europe.
