Suntex Marinas acquires Lynn Creek Marina
Suntex Marina Investors, the owner and operator of marina properties in the US, has announced the acquisition of Lynn Creek Marina located on Joe Pool Lake in Grande Prairie, between Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas.
Joe Pool Lake was built in 1989 and has 7,500 acres of flood-controlled water and over 60 miles of shoreline.
The marina has 528 wet slips capable of accommodating vessels up to 50 feet and 116 dry storage stacks for boats up to 28 feet. Amenities include a complete ships’ store, a rental boat fleet, a gasoline dock, a boat ramp, covered slips and a full-service marine centre.
In addition, there is a 450-seat floating restaurant and bar which boasts views of the lake and the surrounding area, and a golf driving range. Operating out of the marina is a 97-passenger capacity excursion boat equipped with slides, coolers, layout chairs, a Bluetooth stereo system, and BBQ.

We are confident that Lynn Creek will be an excellent reflection of the Suntex experience when completed.”

This latest move follows Suntex making a series of significant acquisitions in 2021. The Suntex portfolio includes marinas located in California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee, and Virginia.
Marine Industry News reported that Suntex Marina Investors acquired Caloosa Cove Marina in the Florida Keys earlier this month.
