Suntex Marinas expands marina network in New Jersey
Suntex Marina Investors continues its US expansion with the acquisition of Fair Haven Yacht Works in Fair Haven, New Jersey.
Fair Haven Yacht Works is a family-oriented, full-service marina located on the Navesink River.
“We are thrilled to be acquiring another choice Jersey Shore property,” says Sam Chavers, Suntex Marinas’ senior vice president of operations, coastal marinas. “This area is continuing to grow in popularity, and we are eager to invest in the development of resources for the community and visitors to enjoy.”
The marina’s four docks offer 81 slips that can accommodate boats from 15 to 55 feet in length and a large mooring field.
The Suntex portfolio includes marinas located in Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee and Virginia.
In 2022, Suntex Marina Investors joined forces with the established marina management company, Westrec Marinas, creating a powerhouse in this sector. The combined company is now valued at US$2.5m, making it the second highest-valued US marina owner after Safe Harbor Marinas, according to The Wall Street Journal.
