Technohull presents 10-metre GTX powerboat

Greek boatbuilder Technohull has sold 25 units of its new 10.7-metre GTX off-plan, ahead of the model’s upcoming world debut.

The sporty new GTX model is a powerboat/tender designed for spending the day at sea. Technohull says the GTX has comfortable lounging areas both at bow and stern and thanks to a wide beam, while a spacious teak deck offers freedom of movement.

The new model’s Dynastream hull design features a deep V twin-stepped hull, a wave-piercing bow and variable-deadrise distribution along its length and beam. It’s said this design ensures owners enjoy speed, handling and control.

The newest addition to the Technohull range follows the design concept first introduced with the GT7. Clean design lines with dynamic and sporty edges along with a sharp bow are said to be geared for performance under all circumstances and any weather profiles.

The model offers a choice between a double seat configuration with a comfortable back-to-back seat or a double row of seats, a wide fully equipped console, a carbon hardtop with full glass windscreen or a high windshield in the case of the open edition.

Engine options include a twin configuration of Mercury 250, 300, or 450 as well as twin Yamaha 250 or 300hp.

Last year, MIN reported that Technohull had opened a new shipyard and commercial headquarters in Lavrio, next to the builder’s existing lounge at Olympic Marine.

The 12,000 sqm site cost €20m to build, according to Technohull, and has the capacity to expand “immediately” to 16,000 sqm if required.
