Greek boatbuilder Technohull has introduced the XPD 46, the first model in its new Expedition Series. The vessel marks the company’s entry into the all-weather explorer market, designed for offshore use and extended seasonal cruising.

Measuring 14.85 metres in length with a beam of 4.4 metres, the model combines a Dynastream deep-V hull with ventilated steps and a wave-piercing bow to support handling across a range of sea states.

The central superstructure is configurable, allowing for a fully enclosed or open-air setup. Sliding doors, a retractable roof and an opening aft window provide ventilation and connectivity to the exterior environment. The helm station includes three chairs and can be adjusted to prioritise either helm or lounge seating.

Exterior deck areas include an aft sunbed and seating unit. The sunpad provides access to storage areas capable of holding equipment such as a dinghy, while wide side decks lead forward to another sunpad and locker in the bow.

A forward master suite is accessed via the console and includes a double bed, storage space and an ensuite head. A second guest double is positioned aft of the saloon. An optional skipper’s cabin can be specified beneath the aft sunbed for owner or charter use.

The XPD 46 offers both inboard and outboard engine configurations, with power outputs up to 1,800hp. Cruising speeds are estimated at 35 knots, with top speeds approaching 60 knots depending on setup. The hull is built to B-Offshore classification.

“The Expedition Series marks a significant step in our journey, a boundary-pushing new family within our range that positions the brand firmly within the explorer market,” says Gerasimos Petratos, CEO of Technohull.

“Designed for those who seek limitless adventure and wish to enjoy year-round cruising, the XPD 46 masterfully blends extreme capability with the benefits of Technohull’s signature comfort and renowned seaworthiness.”

Petratos adds: “The inside-outside flexibility of the superstructure and the numerous well-appointed deck areas make this the perfect boat for fun and adventure no matter how near or how far your adventures take you – topped, of course, by our trademark luxury fit and finish.”

The yard says the new XPD 46 is constructed with an infusion process intended to reduce material waste and increase production efficiency.
