Twin Vee PowerCats partnership with Mercury Marine a ‘strategic growth catalyst’
Twin Vee PowerCats is positioning its premium monohull brand, Bahama Boat Works, for its next stage of growth through a new partnership with Mercury Marine. Framed as a strategic growth catalyst, the alignment is designed to expand market reach, strengthen dealer recruitment, and introduce the brand to new, performance-focused buyers already loyal to Mercury-powered boats.
In a move designed as a strategic growth catalyst – to increase market share and introduce Bahama Boat Works to a broader, more diverse customer base – Twin Vee PowerCats’ wholly owned premium monohull brand, Bahama Boat Works, announced the partnership with Mercury Marine (Brunswick Corporation) this week.
Expanding reach through Mercury Marine’s dealer network
According to Joseph Visconti, president and CEO of Twin Vee PowerCats, aligning Bahama Boat Works with Mercury Marine will immediately strengthen its dealer recruiting efforts, expand its addressable market, and introduce the Bahama Boat Works brand to new demographics that already believe in Mercury Marine-powered boats. Twin Vee recently appointed The Boat Yard as an authorised dealer in the US state of Louisiana.
Bahama Boat Works will officially launch at the Palm Beach International Boat Show, 25-29 March. The company will showcase three all-new Bahama Boat Works models alongside several existing Bahama Boat Works boats. This debut marks the next phase of Bahama Boat Works’ intended evolution as a premium offshore brand.
“This partnership is about growth, credibility, and access,” continues Visconti. “Mercury Marine and Brunswick Corporation bring unmatched dealer infrastructure, brand recognition, and customer trust.”
Leveraging brand trust and propulsion leadership
Mercury Marine’s global dealer network, marketing resources, and performance-driven reputation will provide Bahama Boat Works with a powerful platform to scale efficiently. The partnership is expected to support a stronger showroom presence and increased exposure of the brand across saltwater, offshore, and performance-focused boating segments. Mercury Marine’s broad engine lineup also allows Bahama Boat Works to appeal to both seasoned offshore operators and new premium buyers entering the category through trusted propulsion brands.
Positioning for long-term equity in the premium offshore segment
“This is a strategic alignment that positions Bahama Boat Works to scale faster, penetrate new markets, and build long-term brand equity with the backing of the strongest names in the marine industry,” says Visconti.
Bahama Boat Works has a focus on structural integrity, ride quality, and precision execution. According to the company, pairing these hulls with Mercury Marine power reinforces a complete, premium package that resonates with performance-driven customers while benefiting from Brunswick Corporation’s brand halo and long-term market leadership.
