WATCH: Jackass star attacked by shark as stunt goes horribly wrong

A star of the TV show Jackass has been bitten by a shark when a wakeboarding stunt went wrong.

Jackass star Sean McInerney was filming for the Discovery Channel’s Shark Week when he failed to land a wakeboard jump in shark-infested waters.

In the footage McInerney, also known as Poopies, is shown attempting to jump a ramp on his wakeboard before falling into the water.

McInerney suffered a bite to his hand, leaving him with both artery and tendon damage, News.com.au reports. McInerney adds: “I knew there was a chance I was going to get bit by a shark, but I didn’t think it was going to happen. I don’t blame the sharks at all. I mean, I was in their living room, and it was dinnertime.”

Earlier this month, MIN also reported on the parasailor who was caught up in another shark attack.
