Watch MIN/GMBA/PSP’s online seminar Export Insights: USA

The second online seminar collaboration between Marine Industry News, Global Marine Business Advisors (GMBA) and PSP Logistics is now available to view.

In this comprehensive session, Dr Thomas Dammrich (GMBA) takes a look at the United States marine market and offers insights for those wishing to explore the opportunities offered by exporting to the USA.

Dammrich details the diverse and family oriented consumer behaviour that drives the US market, before breaking down the main sectors within the US leisure marine industry and their market share.

The online seminar was made possible by sponsorship from PSP Logistics. In the session Shaun Parsons, PSP director, describes how having the right paperwork and logistical support is integral to exporting success.

“Mainly it’s about preparation and making sure that, if you are selling into America, your buyer has a broker and you have your power of attorney set up so that they are ready to deal with the customs clearance,” says Parsons. “It’s the same in reverse. If you are buying from America, you need to know what your exposure is when you are bringing it back into the UK. PSP and our partners will be able to hold your hand through all these processes and give advice on the best transport services and customs exposures.”

Both GMBA’s Thomas Dammrich and PSP Logistic’s Shaun Parsons are happy to take direct questions.

Keep an eye out for details of the third exporting insights seminar – to be announced shortly.
