Wescom Group has announced the appointment of Emmanuella (Ella) Isiraojie as business development manager medical at ANP Pharma Ltd, a Wescom Group company.
In this role, Isiraojie will drive global business development and expand the UK-based ANP Pharma’s presence across various marine sector industries, including cruise lines, marine leisure, commercial marina, offshore and renewable energy sectors.
With over 16 years of experience in sales and marketing within the pharmaceutical and medical distribution industry, Isiraojie brings a wealth of expertise to ANP Pharma. Her role will focus on advancing ANP Pharma’s services, which include need-based pharmaceuticals, medical consumables, and medical equipment. Prior to joining Wescom Group, Isiraojie served as key account manager at Universal Marine Medical, managing global accounts from the UK.
Commenting on her new role, Isiraojie says: “As a qualified pharmacist and sales professional, I am excited to bring my expertise and experience to ANP Pharma and Wescom Group customers. My role involves understanding the medical needs of the marine industry and leveraging ANP Pharma’s comprehensive services, including advisory and consultation, and providing regulatory-compliant medical chests on board. Ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of seafarers and patients in remote locations is a top priority, and I am committed to engaging on essential topics like appropriate medicine formularies, proper storage and disposal of medications in line with international pharmaceutical regulations, and providing training on a wide variety of health topics.”
She holds a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana and a master’s degree in health management, planning, and policy in public health from the University of Leeds, where she was awarded the John Griffith Prize for academic achievement. Her professional background also includes sales, pharmacovigilance, market access, and account management positions at leading pharmaceutical companies Novo Nordisk, Johnson, and Roche.
Isiraojie will represent Wescom Group and ANP Pharma at several key industry events, including CLIA Cruise Week in Rotterdam, Sea Trade Cruise Global in Miami, Seawork in Southampton, and IMPA London.
This news follows the recent Wescom Group acquisition of Cardiff-based BCB International, a safety equipment supplier in the defence, outdoor and marine sectors.
