The 16th edition of the Yacht Racing Forum will take place on 19–20 November 2026, with organisers positioning the event as a platform to engage a wider cross-section of competitive sailing.

“One of our key objectives this year is to truly engage all stakeholders across competitive sailing. We want the Yacht Racing Forum to represent sailing globally, in all its diversity and strength,” says Bernard Schopfer, CEO and organiser of the event.

Timed alongside Metstrade

The forum takes place on the final day of Metstrade and the following day, enabling delegates to combine attendance at the Amsterdam-based marine equipment trade show with two days of conferences and networking focused specifically on the sport and business of sailing.

Schopfer says the 2026 programme will present its traditional fare, while expanding its emphasis. “We will continue to spotlight the sport’s leading brands and personalities, while placing greater emphasis on mainstream sailing and the industry ecosystem that sustains it,” he says.

B2B focus

The Yacht Racing Forum is positioned as a business-to-business event for brands, event organisers, teams, suppliers and service providers. The 2025 edition attracted more than 250 delegates from 26 countries.

Organisers say the 2026 programme will cover key pillars of international sailing, alongside conferences, debates and targeted networking sessions.
